About Us

Green Clean Express Auto Wash Founder Shawn Everett grew up around car washing. His father and uncle were in the business, and they taught him early on that every customer who drove up for a wash was the most important customer of the day. He never forgot that lesson.

Everett’s interest in the environment and conservation led to a degree in the field, and a job with an environmental engineering firm. But in 2008, his entrepreneurial spirit prevailed and he started Green Clean Auto Wash.

Today, Green Clean Express uses advanced car wash technology to deliver superior results at affordable prices, backed by friendly, knowledgeable service and environmentally responsible business practices. Everett and his team are proud to have created one of the first Unlimited Wash Clubs in the region, growing it completely by hand – one customer at a time. Members enjoy the convenience and value of truly unlimited washes at any Green Clean Express location.

Today, Green Clean Express Car Wash operates under the parent company of Express Wash Concepts, which includes Greater Dayton and Richmond, Indiana-based Flying Ace Express Car Wash, Greater Cleveland, Toledo and Pittsburgh-based Clean Express Auto Wash, Central Ohio-based Moo Moo Express Car Wash and east Central Ohio-based Bee Clean Express Car Wash.

Green Clean Cares!

Being home grown and operated, we consider it a responsibility and privilege to give back to our community. Each year, we donate our time and thousands of car washes to raise money for local non-profit and youth organizations. Green Clean is honored to partner with one of Virginia’s leading providers of homeless services at our three upcoming Grand Opening events in Portsmouth and Suffolk.

Green Clean Cares Grants

As a home grown & operated company, Green Clean Express Auto Wash is proud of our community involvement! With the support of our customers, we are able to raise funds from our Seasonal Air Freshener Campaigns as well as our year-round Towel Exchange Program to be pooled in our Green Clean Cares Grant Program.

Monetary grants are assigned in November and awarded based upon application review. To be considered, organizations must be a designated 501(c)(3) non-profit, provide proof as such, and complete the grant application form by October 31st.

Fundraisers

Our Green Clean FUNdraiser program gives 501c organizations the opportunity to raise money by selling discounted Green Clean wash vouchers.
